Yep, as I predicted, I ended up paying $87 (that’s about £53) for a WordPress theme. I haven’t played with it for very long yet, but from what I can see it is truly amazing. The theme is called Thesis at is available from here.
Yes, there are plenty of free WordPress themes out there, and I’ve tried quite a few, but all of those free ones require you to know your CSS & PHP in order to customise them (of course, you don’t have to customise them if you are not bothered… but then you’d end up looking like 5,763 other website in the Wide Wide Web… and if you are serious about what you’re doing that’s not really an option).
